Ingredients

500g flank or sirloin steak

2 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp oyster sauce

1 tbsp lime juice

1 tbsp oil

1 tbsp brown sugar

1 tsp black pepper

2 tbsp fish sauce

2 tbsp lime juice

1 tsp chili flakes

1 tsp sugar

1 tbsp shallots

1 tbsp cilantro

1 tbsp toasted rice powder (optional)

Instructions

  1. Marinate steak in soy, oyster sauce, lime juice, sugar, oil, and pepper (30 min).
  2. Grill or sear 3–5 min per side. Rest and slice thin.
  3. Mix all sauce ingredients in a bowl.
  4. Serve beef with sauce, cucumber, and sticky rice.
